Founded in 1993, grown with the market
In 1993 Van Gelderop started as a small textile company in Vianen, founded with a clear focus on craftsmanship and personal service. The first years were dedicated to building a local reputation in the Netherlands — with repairs and small production orders for regional fashion entrepreneurs. In the 2000s, growing demand from across Europe led to the opening of our own production facility in Bulgaria. This strategic step gave Van Gelderop the capacity to take on larger orders without compromising on quality or speed. The direct line between Vianen and Bulgaria — via our own truck fleet — has always remained the backbone of our service. Today Van Gelderop serves over 100 brands and retailers in more than 12 European countries. But we are still the family business we have always been: personal, flexible and genuinely invested in the success of our clients.

Van Gelderop is established in Vianen as a family business specialising in textile repairs and small-scale production.

First exports
Start of the first export activities to Belgian and German clients — the foundation for a European client base.

Service expansion
Launch of clothing production services for local retailers and fashion brands in the Netherlands and surrounding countries.

Bulgaria facility
Opening of our first own production facility in Bulgaria, laying the groundwork for scalable, cost-efficient production.

Factory expanded
Expansion of production capacity in Bulgaria with new machinery and a larger team of skilled seamstresses and production managers.

Quality system introduced
Introduction of a standardised quality manual and production monitoring system in response to growing demand from international clients.

European growth
Expansion of the client base to Germany, Belgium and Scandinavia. Van Gelderop now serves clients in more than 8 countries.
